We are a Network of experts, community leaders, policy-makers, scientists, and concerned citizens who engage within their capacity for comprehensive health advocacy.

Together we increase public health protections, across the state, by generating environmental policy and cultivating best practices across institutions.

Roles Played by Maryland Environmental Health Network:

  • A mobilizer of experts to translate science for the benefit of affected communities and for policy-makers.
  • An advocate for health through our policy agenda based on science.
  • A partner to assure implementation of environmental health policies and laws.
  • A watchdog organization demanding that health and equity commitments of government be fulfilled.
